This heartwarming story unfolds in Pensacola, Florida, where our USIG Installer recently went above and beyond for a couple in need. The elderly homeowners, with the wife confined to a wheelchair and hospital bed, were receiving a new vinyl plank floor installation. Upon arriving, the installer discovered a safety hazard: loose ceramic tiles in the foyer. Without hesitation, he took the initiative to rectify the situation. He meticulously removed the loose tiles, installed the new vinyl plank flooring, and completed the project with the addition of quarter-round trim – all at no extra cost to the homeowners.

This act of kindness inspired immediate action from others. When the COS at the store learned of our installer’s initiative, she wasted no time in assisting. Collaborating with another COS at a different store, they located the necessary box of flooring materials on a clearance rack. Recognizing the significance of this gesture, the COS generously covered the cost of the materials, adding a touch of holiday magic to the project.
